Drawing has been central to my life since early childhood. It evolved from a means of training observation to the recording of thought experiments. The images above include sketches that serve as starting points for projects and programmes, samples from longer narratives, and sketchbook pages. Some particular examples: a 'paleoportraits' of Steve Jobs as an early hominid ( Australopithecus afarensis ) and a large scale watercolor of StJoseph of Cupertino being tested in a wintunnel from over a decade ago that was part of an investigation into the remarkable history of levitating Roman Christian saints.
